]]> About 35 years after their previous conflict, China and Vietnam are having another issue. Reports indicate that a couple thousand Chinese have evacuated back to the homeland while trains full of PLA soldiers, tanks, APC’s and artillery are being delivered to the Vietnamese border. This all seems to be in response to China deploying an oil rig to a disputed area in the South China Sea. If these two can’t sort it out with diplomacy, Vietnam will probably find out that China is willing to can win even if their wrong.

On a side note, as China develops their brown water navy to a blue water navy they seem to be more active in renewing their territorial claims all around the SCS.
